When I Realized My Glow-Up Was Working

Let me share a little moment that made my heart flutter last week! I was at a Nordstrom Beauty Event (invited by my beauty stylist who I've worked with for years), when something absolutely delicious happened.

Picture this: sipping a cocktail, surrounded by fabulous women with that divine feminine energy, all of us chatting about our latest beauty discoveries (I'll share my summer beauty wishlist next week, btw!). As I was updating my stylist on my new job and other life things, this absolutely stunning woman nearby turned to me and said something I'll never forget:

"Oh, I can tell you are important just from your vibes!"

Can we talk about that compliment for a second 💕

My old self would have brushed it off, but stepping into 33 this week (yes, fellow Geminis, it's our season!) I wore those words with so much pride.

So how did we get here?

I've been quietly elevating the small details in my everyday life:

My wardrobe? Intentionally downsized since moving back Midwest. (I did not want to haul indecisive outfits to the other side of the country.) Everything flatters my natural shape now (less trendy sh*t), focusing on quality over designer labels. When I need to rush out, everything comes together effortlessly yet intentionally.

The magic truly happens in the details! Dainty gold accessories paired with oversized sunglasses elevate even the simplest outfit instantly. I never skip my manicure—just clean, neutral, or classic red nails make all the difference (and I keep it affordable and natural so I can maintain it consistently).

Most importantly, I cultivate that internal glow! Journaling, spiritual connection, therapy—all the nourishment my soul needs to radiate self-love through every pore. Energy transfers.

The lesson: True feminine power isn't about price tags or status symbols. It's about cultivating a quiet presence that speaks volumes without saying a word—where you can literally do nothing, yet it says everything.
